I like the simple color of the front cover. I also like the same dual-tone color scheme is used inside on the printed Bible pages. Another thing that sticks out to me is shares the Greek and Hebrew Strong’s word and the number for that word to help the young girl study original word meaning.

I also like the side margin that you can use to put notes or do some Bible Journaling of graphics and such. I do think it is easy to ready, like it says on the packaging. This Bible is hardcover, as I mentioned, which I think is great for young girls to have a hardcover Bible. That makes it more sturdy and durable.

Verse Mapping with this Study Bible goes over 5 steps …

  1. Verse: Select a verse and write it out.
  2. Design: Record this verse in two or three other Bible translations and underline the words that are the same or different between translations.

  1. Develop: Look up the Hebrew or Greek meanings for the underlined words and record them.
  2. Actions: Ask questions. Imagine what it would be like to have experienced what’s happening. Read the verses surrounding this verse and use other study tools to dig even deeper, if you prefer.
  3. Outcome: What is God saying to you? How does this verse relate to your life today?

I like these steps a lot. I think it helps your young lady in your life to actually dig deeper and encourage her to dig deeper and to use other study tools to look deeper, almost as one who is preparing to present this to someone. Especially looking more into what the Greek or Hebrew word is.

Not to mention, it encourages your young student to also look at other translations to see what it says for that verse too. I do believe you need to seek what other translations say as well. I like that part too.

Zondervan who published this book does use an 8 point type. That is usually common in news articles as well.

The retail value of this Bible shows $32.99 and the ISBN is 978-0-310-45468-7.
