Valentine’s Wanted: 104-year-old retired Marine

He is a California resident and native retired Marine major, 30 years in the active-duty Marine Corps, even has a purple heart, awarded after leading Marines under heavy Japanese fire during the battle of Iwo Jima in World War II, in 1945.

“I’ll save every one of them like I’ve been saving little things that have come up until right now and they’ll be a personal part of my history.”

Major Bill White, USMC

Valentine’s Day is only three weeks away, at the time of this post, White has already received over 2,000 Valentine’s Cards, Packages, Gifts, etc.

Let’s help make his day and thank him for his service!

Valentine’s Day cards can be sent to:

Operation Valentine
ATTN: Hold for Maj Bill White, USMC (Ret)
The Oaks at Inglewood
6725 Inglewood Ave.
Stockton, CA 95207

But the real key to his long and positive life, he said, was simple: “Just keep breathing.”

White was interview by KTXL FOX40.

Let’s send Major White tons of Valentine Cards and thank him for his service to our country. Maybe send one from each person in your home. Add a special note. If you wish, you may gift him something too, but all he is asking for is the Valentine Cards.
