This February Full Moon got its name because of the snow usually on the ground. Some Native American tribes
It’s a Supermoon because it is closest to the Earth. This one is going to be the brighest too! The moon rise on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, will be the best time to see this moon.
This special supermoon also creates a Moon Illusion. ( The Moon illusion is an optical illusion which causes the Moon to appear larger near the horizon than it does higher up in the sky. It has been known since ancient times and recorded by various cultures. The explanation of this illusion is still debated.) Per WikiPedia.
If you are in an area where I am located, you might not be able to see it due to the weather. That happened to me during the Blood Moons. It was too cloudy and rainy then.
The Moon is just a wonderful example of the awesome creation of God!

Thank you for the background info. My photographer best girlfriend and I went out yesterday and scouted THE perfect location for her to photograph yesterday. But…the haze made it impossible for her to shoot even a “good” photo. So she’ll be out again today for another go!
I hope it clears up so you all can get a good photo. It is often best to get out of the city area and into the country somewhere that there is no city lights, etc. Thanks for the comment.
