Total depravity – the doctrine that human nature is thoroughly corrupt and sinful as a result of the Fall. That all men are born evil. This is also known as the dead man theory or we are dead because of our sin and we must be born again or regenerated. Fight the Good Fight – Paul I believe was a sports fan in this case boxing. We are told to fight the good fight of faith. We are in a spiritual battle. One that is unseen to us. Paul tells the Church of Ephesus that we are in a wrestling match and he tells Timothy to fight the good fight of faith.
