Student killed during mission trip to Guatemala – Seth Washam was Killed while on a mission trip to Guatemala. He was killed due to an electrical short in a swimming pool.
His sister, Emma was also injured in the accident. Both are students at Carson Newman (C-N).
French Broad Of the Brethren: Prayer request for Jean-Ann Washam (Appalachian Outreach Director) and her husband, Shannon, as their son, Seth, an incoming freshman at Carson-Newman, was killed during a trip to Guatemala because of an electrical short in a swimming pool. His sister, Emma, was also injured in the accident. She is a rising junior at C-N. Prayers for that family and for the C-N family in general.
