When children do it to adults, it shows disobedience. Sticking out your tongue at someone portrays a childish and rude gesture. However, in Tibet, it is considered to be a polite form of greeting.
Of course, we can stick out our tongue at the doctor, but that is when he or she is looking at our throat or inside our mouth and they ask us to.
Tongue in the Bible it shows us it is strong. Did you know it has eight muscles? It also has 2,000 to 8,000 taste buds too.
