One of the most popular Christian bands, Skillet had equipment and guitars stolen from them. They recently toured at the Oregon State Fair. That is when just hours after their show in Salem, OR they had their equipment stolen.

Their Guitars was among that equipment. (Korey Cooper, had a green one stolen and the other three guitars belong to lead guitarist Seth Morrison. The crooks stole around $50 thousand ($50,000) in total of equipment from this Christian Rock band. Plus their mics and other gear. Some of the gear only had value to the band itself too.

“They got our 60 x 40 foot backdrop, which whoever took it isn’t going to be able to do anything with, because it’s literally a 60 x 40 foot piece of cloth that says Skillet on it, so I’m sure they were disappointed when they opened that up,” Tour Manager Kyle Baker said.

The tour manager said the band was staying at the Hyatt Place Hotel by the Portland airport and they had a non-descript box truck parked in the lot there.

The suspect who did this cut the lock off and had no idea what would be inside.

Skillet had insurance in the equipment, so everything will be replaced. Plus the police department had descriptions and serials of the equipment just in case the criminal hocks, pawns the items,

Being a big band, they have to have the items Catalog and inventoried that way they know when they remove things and put things back that it is accounted for. Or at least I hope they do. Which I’m sure catalog and inventoried that way they know when they remove things and put things back that it is accounted for. Or at least I hope they do. Which I’m sure Skillet did.

The next performance is in Seattle, WA. It’s a good thing the band also has an extra set of gear. The stolen equipment won’t stop that show as Skillet sent two crew guys to Milwaukee, WI to pick up extra gear in storage. They only had one day to do this too. But, if they didn’t have that in storage or unable to retrieve it. I am sure the local Christian community would have came through to help.
