Shipwrecked

Shipwrecked – This is my adventure of being shipwrecked … marooned on an island, maybe like Gilligan’s Island, or maybe not! Maybe like the Apostle Paul? Well here is my shipwreck story. #ShipWrecked

I at least live, thus me sharing my story. Just like those in the Bible that survived a shipwreck. In that case, over two hundred survived, so that had to be a huge ship to hold that many. Now that is a good story to read too.

No, The Red Pearl, My Pirate Ship didn’t wreck! This was while I was on another ship. I was sailing with an inexperienced captain. That is when trouble usually occurs. Learn about my adventure on The Red Pearl.

We were out to sea … Then it hit! The biggest hurricane ever recorded. We lost total control of the ship. The winds were fierce and the rain extremely heavy. It was hailing huge hail.

This storm lasted for days, beating up this old ship. It was not in any condition to take on this type of storm. Actually this was suppose to be the final voyage of this ship. Well, it sure ended up that way.

This storm was so bad, no one could be outside on the deck of the ship. We all had to be in the cabins and let the ship freely be tossed too and fro.

We don’t know how we did it, maybe it was just like the voyage Paul went through in Acts that helped him survive. The Lord say us through and to land safely.

The people of this land, took us in. Gave us shelter and food. While we were there, we were able to share the gospel to them. Not to mention, they helped us to rebuild a new ship.

“As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Did I mention the land we ended up on, was untouched. It seemed the storm just skipped over it and allowing the ship to safely rest there.

Do you like the sea? ships? pirates? Maybe check out these blog post where I share Bible Stories of the Sea.

Hundreds Survive Shipwreck

The remains of the ship, still stand on the shore of the spot of land. Today, many people come to see and hear the story of how the hurricane skipped over the people.

This was another creative writing prompt. I used this one below. No, I have never been shipwrecked! I actually have never been on an official ship either.
