Sevier County mandates the mask order
Sevier County is one of the counties within Tennessee that now mandates face masks, like Knox County did.
This face mask mandate will take place July 10, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. I am sure many more counties, if not the whole, state of Tennessee will follow suit.
Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters made the announcement on Tuesday in front of a masked Dolly Parton statue.
No word on the fines, etc. for failure to comply. But, they may be similar to those of other locations with face covering mandates.
