Sea Turned into Blood

Captain ChristianBlogR here, I seen on Facebook about a town in China where a sea turn bright crimson red.. Reminds me of the Nile turning to blood. One of the plagues in Egypt. Now, this sea in China, wasn’t blood, but I am sure it was dyed to look like it. However, the Nile River was turned to blood. It happened as Moses was trying to get his people out of Egypt. God sent several plagues to show that He is God. One of these was the Nile River turning into blood. That brings me to another Bible Stories of the Sea.

Moses water blood

Sea Turned into Blood

These various plagues where because Pharaoh wouldn’t let the people go. Since Pharaoh didn’t let his people go,God told Moses to tell Aaron to stretch his Rod over the water, and all of the water throughout Egypt including the Nile was turned into blood. This miracle of God was performed in font of Pharaoh and his servants.  All of the fish in the water died, no one could drink the water and top it all the water stank. This was the first plague. (See Exodus 7:14-25)

Even with water turning onto blood before Pharaoh’s eyes and his heart was still hardened and didn’t let the Israelites go. That led to more plagues.  For the Bible Stories of the Sea I just mention this one plague.

Another place the Bible mentions about Water turning into blood is in Revelation 16:4. (See verse below)

Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

This China sea could have been a coloring job like how they dye the Chicago River for St. Patrick’s Day green.

What would you think if you saw bodies of water turn colors before your eyes? What if it turned into real blood?
