Rumors of Wars (Movie Review + Trailer)

I believe this review was given to me, because of the the new Left Behind Series coming out. Rumors of Wars, came out in 2013, stars Eric Roberts, Ben Davies, Jaci Velasquez, Mac Powell, Jason Burkey, Michael Joiner, and Jennifer Cooper.  You may recognize Ben Davies from the Movie Courageous.

This movie shows the Mark of the Beast, the chip, being implemented and the one government as known that happens after the rapture, but this movie doesn’t make me believe the rapture has a occurred yet, because it made a note saying that the rapture hasn’t occurred yet. It doesn’t make you believe that people disappeared yet, but the mark of the beast and the one government has started which is known during the Tribulation to Pre-Tribulation. This view point taken may be Mid-Tribulation (Rapture happens in the middle of the Tribulation) or Post-Tribulation (Rapture happens at the end of the Tribulation).

Rumors of Wars goes between the past and the present, it goes back and forth. I didn’t really realize that until I was half way to almost done with the movie. It also linked characters from the past and the future. It also centers around a journal, Roxy’s Journal. This Journal unfolds both the past, and the future. It has Bible references and as the new government (New World Army) tries to enforce the new laws with peace & security as they seek out all Christians and destroy them including all Christian paraphernalia.

Find out what happens when this journal falls into the hands of Shaw,  a member of the New World Army. What does he do with it? Does he continue to do the work of the new orders or does he rebel help the Christians?

This Journal is full of current stuff and things that point back to in the Bible, like in Isaiah and Revelation.

In the End, We All Worship Something. Is the statement used for this movie, This is true, Anything that you put first in your life is what you worship. It can be money, sex, drugs, and the list can go on. But, the answer is do you put God first?

On the back of the DVD case has the scripture reference for Matthew 24:6. That verse says …

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.  Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.”

I enjoyed this movie very much and my daughter said she enjoyed it too. I highly recommend this video. Even with the Family Approved Dove Seal, I recommend that anyone under 13 not watch this video. This video does have a lot of violence, so it is not suited for young children. But adults and older teens this would be a good movie. Maybe to get you thinking about the end of times. No matter how the end of times happen, that is not important, what is important, is are you ready?

Another thing, if a Mark of the Beast item is implemented, an item that is required for you to buy and live, don’t get it!

I was given a copy of the DVD to do a blog review of this movie. This review is an unbiased opinion, based on my own personal opinion.
