In addition to the two new journeys, you can now track your progress and have access to related articles, sermons, devotionals and more within each chapter. OPEN has also released a new print companion to “The Drive” called Open the Bible in 30 Days.
In early 2019, Unlocking the Bible launched OPEN as a free, online tool that takes an individual or group through the whole Bible story in 50 sessions. In each session, you read or listen to a passage from the Bible, a brief teaching, and then discuss a series of questions.
OPEN is based on the 4-volume set Unlocking the Bible Story by Colin Smith, who likes to describe the Bible as “…one story. It begins in a garden, ends in a city, and all the way through it is about Jesus Christ. Follow the story and it will lead you to Jesus.”
This free, “app like” website is for anyone, at any point of their understanding of the Bible, to see how the whole Bible story fits together:

Ultimately, OPEN will provide believers an opportunity to invite others to take the journey with them. In a survey by the American Bible Society, 58% said they “wish they read or listened to the Bible more.” This included people who self-identify as non-Christians or skeptics. Nearly two out of every three people are open to discovering the Bible:
