No fishing allowed in the Sea of Forgetfulness

No fishing allowed in the Sea of Forgetfulness . Too often we try to go fishing in the Sea of Forgetfulness and bring it back to us.

No fishing Allowed in the Sea of Forgetfulness

As a child of God and we ask for forgiveness with a repentant heart, God places that in the Sea of Forgetfulness. That is a place where God will remember it no more. I have a blog post that talks all about forgiveness. It is a must read! However, in this blog post, I am gonna talk about No Fishing! The devil likes to come along and fish in our heads and bring up our past to us. When the devil does this, we must remind him of his future. God has already forgiven us for that. God sees His Son’s Blood of Righteousness imputed on us. We must remember the devil is the father of lies and will try to tell us otherwise.

“God takes our sins – the past, present and future and dumps them in to the sea and puts up a sign that says, NO FISHING ALLOWED.” -Corrie ten Boom.

So stop allowing Satan to fish in that sea. We know that Jesus got the victory. He won the victory of death, sin and Satan. Jesus accomplished this on the Cross of Calvary. If God forgets them and cast them into the Sea of Forgetfulness than we don’t need to cast and reel those back in or even allow Satan to fish in that sea either. We must put up and keep up the “NO FISHING ALLOWED!” sign.

The Bible does it specifically mention the sea of forgetfulness. However some will say that’s what it means in Micah. Micah just says into the depths of the sea. Depths of the sea is the deepest part of the sea too.

They will also use the verse  from Psalm about from as far as the east is to the west too. Not to mention, white as snow as found  in Isaiah. Using these Bible verses to call it the Sea of Forgetfulness.

Micah 7:19 He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

  1. Hi Steve, that’s absolutely fine. As an angler, I find nothing wrong here on this ban. BTW I’m Steve here too. Stay well & safe. 🙂

  2. Forgiveness displays the quality and attribute of Gods mercy. God says if your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky and then you would seek my forgiveness, I would forgive you. 🙂

    1. As a person who needs forgiveness of terrible Sins, I Really Hope and Pray that God has Forgiven and Forgotten them
All I Can do is Believe and Repent And Have Faith
I cannot change the Past, Although I wish I could
