No Bones About It — Jesus is Alive!

The phrase ‘No Bones About It’ is often used as well to state a fact with no doubt meaning Christ arose from the dead His bones were never found! Jesus Christ is surely alive!

There is no bones about it, our Savior Jesus Christ is alive. He was crucified for our sins and arose on the third day. They buried our Lord in a tomb, they sealed it and had a guarded tomb. He arose and from the dead. Many saw Jesus when he arose. Mary saw Him. He also appeared to Peter and then the twelve. He also appeared to 500 (most where alive, some were dead). That is a lot of witness to not back the truth!

My pastor from Piedmont always says, There are no bones about it! They have not found the bones of Jesus Christ nor will they ever find the bones of Jesus Christ. It is proven that Jesus walked the earth and it was also proved that Jesus Christ was crucified and even rose from the dead, as there were many eye witnesses!

Trail to Empty Tomb

In the blog post “Trail to Empty Tomb” shows some pictures of a local church reacting the true reason we celebrate Easter. Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, he was buried and arose from the dead. They show parts of what lead up to the crucifixion like The Last Supper and Pilate washing his hands (trying to show he was not of guilt in this ordeal), show the crucifixion, burial, sealed tomb and empty and also Jesus showing himself and proving he is the risen Lord. It is a must see. It is a must see!

Songs to share

There are also two songs that I like that tell you He is Alive. Newsboys sings a song ‘God’s Not Dead’ and a song by Andy Cherry ‘Our God’s Alive’. I share both of these songs below for you in this blog entry.

Scriptures to share

Below are some Bible Verses I want to share with you. These Bible verse share the story of Jesus Christ and His resurrection. This is the reason we celebrate Easter as Christians. Remember Christ died (was crucified) for our sins and arose 3 days later. When we pray we need to 1. Ask God forgiveness of our sins and 2. Thank Christ for dying on the Cross for our sins. What greater gift can anyone give you but to die for your sins? You can see this in the last Bible verse that I share with you. God gave us the best gift ever … Jesus Christ!

3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas (Peter), then to the twelve. 6Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

1 Corinthians 15:3-8

1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb,i taking the spices they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. 5 And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise” 8 And they remembered his words,9 and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. 10 Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles, 11 but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. 12 But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened.

Luke 24:1-12

1 When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. 2 And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. 3 And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” 4And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back  it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. 6 And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you” 8 And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Mark 16:1-8

1 Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and n the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. 4And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. 5But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here, for he has risen, s as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you” 8 So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”

Matthew 28:1-10

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not  perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

John 3:16-17

  1. Hallelujah. I love this post about Jesus which states this great truth loud and clear about the greatest day in history. He is the way, the truth and the life and because He conquered death and lives so do we. Everyone has the chance to choose life and not death. I hope you don’t mind that I have reposted on my blog as this is good news to be shared far and wide bless you
