Demario Davis fined roughly $7,000 for wearing a headband with “Man of God” on it. Davis wore it during the Week 3 matchup against the Seahawks.

Davis posted a picture of the headband on Instagram and asked his followers whether he should wear it again.

“So, I got fined $7K for my headband. Should I continue to wear it, or nah?” he wrote.

The NFL has rules against players wearing “personal messages.” This headband breaks that rule of personal messages. So it wasn’t a Christian target. Other players have been fined for messages such as “Find A Cure and even “In Memory Of …”

A Second Offensive would make the fine over $14,000.

Davis is known for his strong faith sharing and he will not let the NFL stop him from sharing it.

Update October 9, 2019: Demario Davis won his appeal on the uniform violation. He will not have to pay the fine!
