Did you know that Adam & Eve were the first zoo keepers. Well, the animals then were not in a zoo, but God put Adam and Eve over the animals of the earth to care for them.

This special holiday is sponsored by the AAZK Resource Committee to recognize and promote dedicated zoo and aquarium professionals year round.

When is National Zoo Keeper Week?

This day is celebrated starting on the third Sunday in July.

In 2019, this week is July 21-27. Then in 2020, this week is July 19-25.
