National Siblings Day

National Siblings Day – Do you have any brothers and/or sisters? If so this is the day for you all. National Siblings Day!

National Siblings Day

I have a two sisters, one is a half sister, Lisa, that I don’t really know. The other is my full sister, I grew up with, Sherrie. I am the eldest. We lack 4 days to be 14 months apart. My sister, Sherrie and I have the same mother, Paula Klaus Patterson and the same father, Clinton Donald Patterson, Jr. My half-sister, Lisa, we only have the same father. But I don’t know my half-sister.

Below is a collage picture of the both of us. The one on the left is when we were younger. The one on the right is from my wedding on February 17, 2018.

Siblings are an incredible gift from God, just like children are too.

National Sibling Day (Sister and Brother - Sherrie and Steve Patterson)

This holiday is held annually on April 10th. This day was picked by founder, Claudia Evart in 1995 to celebrate and honor her siblings. She picked April 10th because of her sisters, Lisette’s birthday. Evart, lost both of her siblings from separate accidents. She knew siblings are important in your life.
