Mason Jar Day was created by Misty Campbell-Olbert. It takes place on the anniversary of the day John Landis Mason patented the mason jar in 1858.

The day for this holiday is held annually on November 30.

My wife and I used the mason jar as part of our theme for our wedding. I even used the major jar for a Blessing Jar. This makes a great gift to give for Christmas or even for the start of the New Year. Only really need three things! (Mason Jar, Memo Pads and a Pen!)

I have used some mason jars to make homemade pickles! Plus, you can make use them to can tons of vegetables. I remember being given a case full of canned tomato juice that were in mason jars.

Maybe drink you a good glass of sweet tea in a mason jar! Or even Just unsweet tea, if you must!

Today they make all kinds of things with Mason Jar stuff on it. Plus, people use them for crafts and decorating.
