National Mammography Day – A day to help remind women to schedule their mammography for Breast Cancer Screening. #NationalMammographyDay
National Mammography Day

Held annually on the third Friday in October. In 2020, it is held on Friday, October 16. This is part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Which is in October). This day was proclaimed in 1993 by President Bill Clinton.
During this month women are encouraged to make a mammography appointment. I would say anytime is a good time to sent one up.
One thing that is bad, Breast Cancer can occur in men, however, the free screenings are for women only. Not to mention, it is harder to get a man to get a mammography screening. Breast Cancer runs in my family, and I have tried to get one and couldn’t.
If you are a woman over the age of 40, or you have a family history of breast cancer, be sure to schedule an annual screening mammogram.
