National Ice Cream Day

National Ice Cream Day

National Ice Cream Day is a day we celebrate by having and enjoying some ice cream. Maybe a great day to take the family out after morning or evening worship and enjoy some ice cream. Maybe you can go as a church or youth group. Maybe you can use the day and witness or hand gospel tracts out to people eating ice cream. Celebrated the third Sunday in July each year.

Maybe as the snack if your church does a snack, could be ice cream this day. Maybe give a gospel tract or gospel of John to someone eating ice cream. Maybe pay it forward to someone and buy them ice cream at the place you are at.

It’s difficult to beat the refreshing, delicious nature of ice cream. About 10.3 percent of all the milk produced by U.S. dairy farmers is used to produce ice cream, contributing significantly to the economic well-being of the nation’s dairy industry. The entire month of July is National Ice Cream Month, and annually the third Sunday in July is dubbed “National Ice Cream Day.” To appeal to ice cream lovers, there’s never a better time to promote this favorite dessert. In 1984, is when this day was signed into law as a holiday. Founded by International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA).

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? My favorite kind of ice cream is strawberry. I love to make milkshakes with ice cream too.  Do you like toppings on your ice cream? If so what toppings do you like to add?

I like whipped topping on mine.
