National Father Daughter Take a Walk Together Day

This holiday, National Father Daughter Take a Walk Day, created to further promote the special bond between father and daughter. There are so many beautiful places to explore this time of the year, and what better way to see the neighborhood than with a special walking partner? Dads and daughters can walk, chat and learn more about each other.

National Father Daughter Take a Walk Together Day

A great day for dad and daughter to go walking. Walking is good for you. If you both have a fitbit or fitness tracker, maybe you can challenge each other to see who can get the most steps. Maybe you can start the day or end the day with this walk.

It doesn’t have to be a long walk unless you both want to do a long haul. It is summer time and a great time to be outside and enjoy nature. You can go to a walking trail or just walk the streets. Just be careful on the streets.

If it is raining or bad weather, maybe you two can go to a place that allows in door walking. Like the mall or even some community centers.

Celebrated annually on July 7.

Not much else is found about this day. Just the same stuff that repeats it self. I am not sure when this day got started either.
