National Cheesecake Day #NationalCheeseCakeDay

We have a deacon in our church, Piedmont Baptist, that can make really good Cheesecakes. Just say, at our covered dishes, you have to get desert first, if you want any of the cheesecake!

A Cheesecake can be baked or unbaked. Cheesecakes are sweet and a soft texture. They are made with either cream cheese or cottage cheese. Actually, I have only known of people using cream cheese and not cottage cheese. There is also eggs and sugar used too. Plus other flavorings too. It is put onto a variety of types of crust. For example, crushed graham crackers, crushed cookies or even pastries or sponge type cakes. Plus other types of crust too.

Cheesecake is one word, not two, like I first thought. It is not cheese cake. It is cheesecake!

The Date

Date:Annually on July 30

Just like lasagna, the cheesecake has been thought to be around since Ancient Greece. However, the founding of National Cheesecake Day is not known in my research. This holidays is celebrated annually on July 30.
