National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day – an awareness day to help raise the awareness to be screened if you believe you have an anxiety disorder or even a post-traumatic stress disorder.
National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day
Fear and anxiety are a normal part of everyday life. However for some, if escalates to overwhelming levels. Over 23 million people suffer from some type of anxiety disorder or a post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
It is observed the first Wednesday in May since 1993. In 2020, that day is on May 6.

- 2021 – May 5
- 2022 – May 4
- 2023 – May 3
- 2024 – May 1
Now National Depression Screening Day is in October. Those with anxiety or PTSD often also have signs of depression too.
