National #2 Pencil Day – a day set aside for the icon writing utensil we all use or have used when we were in school and especially for taking those bubble test. #2PencilDay
In the rating of pencils, pencils.com states the higher the number, the harder the writing core and the lighter the mark left on the paper. MentalFloss.com says the lead is not too dark and not too light, and it’s not too hard or too soft.
This day occurs annually on August 17. I am sure most of us have used a #2 pencil before either at school or taking a test. Such test that requires you to bubble in an answer sheet, like the ACT, Civil Service and a lot of your school exams.
Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil. No Point.
I am not sure when or how this day got started. If you know, feel free to share in the comments below.
I enjoy listening to nothing but Christian Music. Camping and hiking is something that I enjoy. I guess that is because I am an Eagle Scout. Blogging is something I enjoy doing too. I have been blogging since 2004. However, I have been blogging on Courageous Christian Father since 2012. I am married with 1 daughter and 2 step-sons and a step daughter.
