May the Fourth be with you
The three came out unharmed. They even made the furnace hotter and those putting them in died.
As the song by Hillsong says there’s another in the fire, So may the fourth be with you aka May the LORD be with you! Meaning that fourth is the Lord!
Remember I see a fourth person in the furnace and the fourth is that like the son of God.

So let Star Wars day remind you about the Lord is always with us. He will never leave us, not forsake us!

Today, as we commemorate May the Fourth, let us explore the lessons we can learn from their incredible story and discover how we too can find strength in the midst of the fiery furnaces of our lives.
- Standing Firm in the Face of Adversity: The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego takes place in the kingdom of Babylon, where King Nebuchadnezzar ordered everyone to worship a golden image he had set up. However, these three young men, being faithful to God, refused to bow down to any false idol. They knew that their allegiance belonged to the one true God alone. Their unwavering commitment to their faith serves as a powerful reminder for us today. In a world that often challenges our Christian values and beliefs, we must stand firm and unwavering, just as these three men did.
- Trusting in God’s Faithfulness: When confronted by the furious king, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego fearlessly proclaimed their trust in God’s faithfulness, regardless of the outcome. They confidently declared, “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it” (Daniel 3:17). Their trust was not based on a guaranteed physical deliverance, but on the unchanging character of God. Similarly, in our own trials and tribulations, we must trust in God’s faithfulness, knowing that He is with us, even in the midst of the fire.
- Experiencing God’s Presence in the Furnace: As the three men were thrown into the fiery furnace, King Nebuchadnezzar witnessed a remarkable sight. He saw not three, but four men walking around in the midst of the flames, unharmed and unbound. It was the presence of God Himself that accompanied them through the ordeal. This powerful encounter reveals that even in our most challenging moments, God is present with us. He never abandons His faithful servants. When we pass through the fire, we can rest assured that God is by our side, providing strength, comfort, and protection.
- Emerging Refined and Renewed: When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego emerged from the fiery furnace unscathed, their faith had been refined, and their testimony became a powerful witness to God’s power and deliverance. The trials we face in life, although difficult, can serve to purify our faith and strengthen our resolve. As James 1:12 reminds us, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” Our faith can emerge stronger, more resilient, and more grounded in God’s truth.

fourth be a reminder that, as Christians, we have a force far greater than any fictional power—the power of the Holy Spirit within us. May the Fourth be a day of reflection, where we draw strength from the story of the fiery furnace and apply its lessons to our own lives.
In the midst of challenges and trials, let us remember that we serve a God who is able to deliver us, just as He delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. We can trust in His faithfulness, knowing that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Even when the fires of life rage around us, we can experience the peace and comfort of His presence, walking with us through every trial.
