Knowing the Future
Since I know God holds it. Therefore, I do not want to know. My reasoning is I have to trust God. He has already gone before me and prepared my day. (Deuteronomy 31:8). He said do not worry for tomorrow, for tomorrow has enough worries of it’s own (Matthew 6:34). We just have to trust God in it all. That can often be hard.
Besides, no matter what we do or don’t do, God already knows what will happen. He had guided my steps in that day. I also think it would be scary to know actually. Nonetheless, nothing we can do or don’t do what change the future.
However, If you did know the future, would you try to do something to change it? Yes, I know we cannot change the future if we knew it. Besides, it wouldn’t make us who we are. If we could change the future, who’s to say we won’t make a similar mistake later down the road.
