It’s Open Season on Christians

I do believe it’s officially Open Season on Christians here in America. The Hunt is on to kill, steal and destroy anything and everything about the Christian faith. The devil has waged war on us. But we do know that God has the victory!

The target is Christians. Non-believers are targeting Christians by persecution and even murder.

We saw it in 1999 at Columbine and more recently we saw it in Oregon where the last words of those Christians was, “Yes! I am a Christian!”

You see more of the murders in other countries, but we are recently seeing it here in America.

I am glad to know these men and women who are being killed because of Christ has gained their eternal life in Christ up in Heaven. They gave their life for Christ and His sake.

You have ISIS and other Islamic Extremist groups that are beheading, murdering, burning, killing, enslaving, raping, imprisoning, all kinds of torture and more Christians.

The Bible did tell us that we would be persecuted because of Jesus and it also says that if our life is taken for His sake we will gain life.

With all this going on in the world is just more proof that the end is near. No one knows the time or the hour, but we do have seasons and this is part of that season.

The Bible tells us that we cannot be ashamed of Christ either. If we are ashamed of Him before man, Christ will be ashamed of us before the Father. It is hard to say what we would do if we had a gun pointed to our head and asked about our faith what we would do. I pray I and many others can be strong and say … “Yes! I am a Christian!”

Below are some Bible verses …

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. 23 When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Matthew 10:22-23

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 5:11-12

21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. 25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’

John 15:21-25

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Matthew 16:25

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

Luke 9:24

He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

Matthew 10:39

Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.

Luke 17:33

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.

Mark 8:35
