The Fourth Week in November is International Bible Week, usually the Sunday before Thanksgiving, is usually International Day of the Bible. But this year, 2016, it is held sooner! I encourage you to read your Bible. Read it daily! Study it! Hide its Words in Your heart. (Psalm 119:11 – Verse below)
International Day of the Bible
Don’t just read it on this day, but read the Bible daily!
Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.
If you keep his Word close to you, deep in your heart, the center most part of your being, it will help you know right from wrong in God’s Eye.
I like this graphic used on Refining Truth’s Blog, shown above, The Bible is dusty with the words “Read Me!”, I am sure most of us have several Bibles just laying around not read. It is also on the lines of when people have dirty cars, they have the “Wash Me!” Written in finger on them. This is similar. The Bible can help clean you, show you the way to go! It is living Word of God. So dust off that Bible and open it up and begin reading it. Don’t know where to start, pray and God for guidance. Still unsure they say the Gospel of John is the best book to start in.

International Day of the Bible usually occurs during International Bible Week. It occurs that Sunday before Thanksgiving at noon, on that day, they ask you take pause for a moment to reflect and study a scripture passage. You can read it from your Bible, Online Bible or even an app on your electronic device. Just take a moment to read your Bible.
In 2018, it will be held on November 18, 2018.
I also encourage you to share a verse or two on your social networks daily.
Plus, I hope this encourages you to ready daily, pick a special time and place to read it daily. International Day of the Bible should be every day. We should honor the Bible daily!
