On July 25, 2014, I got to to go to a Bloggers Social at Chick-fil-A in Morristown. They had this social to allow us to taste their new coffee. They have now an iced coffee and even a new type of hot coffee. I got to meet fellow local bloggers at a Blogger Social, Michelle and Sarah.
On this Bloggers Social, they hosted us and gave us a chicken salad sandwich, a cookie and either iced or hot coffee. I choose hot, because I do not like iced. My daughter got the iced. So did Sarah and Michelle. All of them enjoyed the nice ice coffee. My daughter even made a comment that it was better than McDonald’s. I do believe each of the ladies has a couple or more refills of this iced coffee. So that tells me they enjoyed it, plus all of them verbally said they did.
Just a side note, they do not use nuts in their chicken salad sandwiches. It appears that they have them in it, but it is just parts of the multi-grain from the bread.
Not only did they host us with food, they also gave us a nice gift bag of goodies. A T-shirt, a tumbler type cup and a book, “Doing Business the Chick-fil-A Way” by S. Truett Cathy, Founder of Chick-fil-A.
I really enjoyed the hot coffee myself. I thought it has a nice taste too it. I like mine very creamy and very sweet. When I mean by very creamy & very sweet, I mean like 4 or 5 liquid cream shots and tons of sugar. I would say 10 packets of sugar. Now that is creamy and sweet eh? Basically saying a lot of cream and sugar, I guess more cream and sugar than coffee.
August 18, 2014, should be the date that all Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide roll out with the new Iced Coffee and new hot coffee. I believe the Morristown location rolled it out on July 28, 2014. So if your local Chick-fil-A doesn’t have the new HOT or ICED COFFEE yet, please be patient, they soon should be rolling out with it.
Also side note, the Chick-fil-A in Morristown, TN will be giving away free HOT or ICED COFFE August 11-15, 2014 (Monday to Friday) from 6:30-10:30 a.m. and 2-5 p.m. So you can try yours free!
The new coffee line comes from Thrive Farmers Coffee.
Have you had the new iced or hot coffee at Chick-fil-A? If so, I want to hear from you. Tell me about your experience with this new item they rolled out with.
