My Review!

Now I am going to share with you my take of the movie I Still Believe. This faith-based movie stars KJ Apa (Jeremy Camp), Britt Robertson (Melissa Camp), Shania Twain (Terry Camp) and Gary Sinise (Tom Camp).

I have also shared some quotes of people we may know who endorse this faith-based film (Alex Kendrick, Wally and Lauren Daigle.

I STILL BELIEVE is a beautifully shot and well-acted film! It reminds us that love and loss are still opportunities to see God’s hand at work.”

Alex Kendrick, Writer and Director, Kendrick Brothers Productions

I enjoyed this movie very much. I think you will too. It is a good emotional movie about love, faith and healing.

“The cast of I STILL BELIEVE is fantastic. KJ and Britt, there’s a really cool chemistry that they have on screen.”

Wally, WAY-FM Morning Host

I STILL BELIEVE was stunning to say the least. The story captivated so many sentiments. I saw this film with my grandmother, my dad and my aunt, so that’s three generations and we all had tears falling down our face. We were all moved equally. This movie isn’t a matter of age. This movie is a matter of heart. If you have a heart, you’ll be able to feel something in this film that’s real.”

Lauren Daigle

I enjoyed following along Jeremy Camp’s story about finding love. It was an emotional story. I admit I did cry. You will need some Kleenex. I felt like I was actually there with him as the story unfolded of love and loss.

The movie featured a 1990’s Christian Band, The Kry, who is from Canada. I have never heard of them until the movie.

Some quotes I liked from the movie

The God of a trillion stars knows my name.

Melissa

If one persons life will be changed for what I go through, it will be worth it.

Melissa

To me, music is a hobby, but to you, it’s a gift.

Tom Camp

Suffering doesn’t destroy your faith. It defines it.

My wife pointed out that the releasing of the laterns was suppose to be used for you to release something. In the movie, they made it out like it was a wish.

You can also see a brief about one person who’s life was changed because of Melissa.

If you didn’t see the I Can Only Imagine Movie, I highly recommend you watch it that too!

I do highly recommend you watch I Still Believe. It is powerful too. I think it would be a good movie for older children, maybe not so much for very young children due to the content. It is rated PG.
