Holidays means Holy Days

Holidays means Holy Days

When people wish you Happy Holidays they really are saying Happy Holy Days. Yes, I know if you are like me, you want to hear  Merry CHRIST-mas! Note, saying Christ and Mas. Some people don’t like it when people say Happy Holidays to try to be politically correct. Nonetheless, Holidays still mean Holy Days. Christmas after all is a Holy Day. Granted when people wish you Happy Holidays it could encompass all Holidays.

Not my Christmas! I will still say Merry CHRIST-mas!

So when someone wishes you a Happy Holiday, remember they are wishing you a Happy Holy Day.
