This restaurant is a Family-Owned and Operated Southern Home Cooking establishment.

My catfish was good. I enjoyed it. It was a thick cut catfish too. My mashed potatoes and gravy was good too. I would have liked a bit more brown gravy with mine. Then I could have dipped my catfish in my gravy.

The chicken livers too big and didn’t seemed they were soaked in buttermilk but wife enjoyed the small pieces, but not the big pieces. She didn’t even eat those big pieces. She did however, enjoyed fried okra and the corn bread. The corn bread was done like pancakes.

This restaurant doesn’t seem ADA compliant on the inside. There are tight, narrow areas and a lot of steps to maneuver around. However, it has a ramp on the outside to enter the building. Which, makes me wonder.

This inside and outside of the building is a log cabin look. It is rustic looking inside. Open ceilings like that log cabin feel.

I didn’t see our waitress that much, but when we did, she was friendly and nice.

We may be back again. My wife just won’t order the chicken livers again. I would eat the catfish again. It was good. However, I still think Haymakers has the best catfish! I think I would also try their breakfast, as I love breakfast food.
