God is Light -Attribute of God – Day 2 – In the 31 Day Attributes of God Bible Writing Challenge, you have to read 1 John 1:5-7.

This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. ⁶ If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; ⁷ but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 1:5-7

In these verses is shows us that God is Light. That means God reveals, exposes and shines. Not only that, but God warms. Light gives off heat. There are many benefits to light! Even a dim light can shine in darkness. However, God’s light is not dim, it is bright!
