Garlic Lovers Day

Garlic Lovers Day

Garlic is an onionlike plant (Allium) that is highly aromatic and has a distinct flavor. It is native to Central Asia and Northeastern Iran. I believe Garlic is great on everything! But it is mostly used on breads, pastas, meats and other things.

Garlic was used to treat gangrene during World War I and II. Studies have shown that it is also good for cardiovascular health, cancer, and the common cold. Plus many more benefits to eating garlic.

Garlic Lovers Day is held annually on October 6.

I am not sure when or how this day got started.
