Freedom is not free.
This Jefferson City church sign reminds us that our freedom we have is not free.
The most important reason is it cost God, his one and only Son, Jesus. Jesus died for our sins. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for anyone.
Another reason our freedom isn’t free, all the men and women who have died protecting our country. Plus the men and women that leave their family to go protect our family as well.
So final thought, freedom is never free!
Someone, somewhere paid the price for our freedoms. Our Heavenly Freedom was paid for by God and our earthly freedoms were paid for the many men and women who have fought for our country. Thanks to all of them!
I saw this church sign on my way to the Jefferson City 4th of July parade in 2014. This church sign is from Emmanuel Baptist Church in Jefferson City, TN.
I want you to take some time to reflect on the freedoms and liberties you have as an American. Just think of how other countries, they don’t have these freedoms we have. Just some food for thought for you.
I also thank you God for the freedom we have in America to be able to worship you freely. I thank you for your Son who gave us the best gift of freedom for Heaven and it is only through Him we can get that.
