Fifth Year Blogaversary at Courageous Christian Father

Fifth Year Blogaversary at Courageous Christian Father. It is hard to believe that I have been blogging on this domain for five years now. Overall, I have been blogging for nearly 15 years.

Fifth Year Blogaversary at Courageous Christian Father

Blogaversary is comprised of two words Blog and Anniversary to mean Blogging Anniversary!

5 Year Blogaversary (Fifth Year Blogaversary)

Why I started blogging

I started off blogging for two hobbies that I had. I collected business cards. I talked about that and even showed off famous business cards I had in my collection. Plus, I also talked about the hobby Where’s George, a currency tracking hobby. I blogged about both of those. This was in 2002, then I had a LiveJournal website. By 2004, I switched to WordPress and had my own domain name. I had Cardeologist dot com. It was a place of words. I used an “e” instead of an “i”. I got a nickname Doctor of Business Cards.

By 2012, I started doing some Christian Blog post. I also forgot to renew that domain name and lost it. It ended up going to another person that collects business cards. Because, I lost that domain and started blogging more for God and I just recently did the resolution from Courageous, I came up with this domain name … Courageous Christian Father. During that time, I gave up the collecting of business cards and tracking currency on Where’s George. I even blogged about stopping Where’s George in a blog post called Where’s George Currency Tracking My Faith is Stronger than that.

October 6, 2012 was when this domain name was registered. It wasn’t until 2014 I started to see huge number increases in pageviews.

Milestones

While blogging on Courageous Christian Father I have reached many mile stones including having over 1 Million Pageviews overall. Not to mention, I am closing in on 2,000 published blog post! One of my best days was in January of 2016 with over 4,000 pageviews just that day. On average, Courageous Christian Father can get 900 to 1,000 pageviews a day. Sometimes, God blesses this blog ministry with more.

I even got to network and meet many new people, bands, see new places and even do reviews of items, movies, attractions and more! Even cross promoting with other Christian Miniseries.

The Smoky Mountain Trader has also allowed Courageous Christian Father to be a co-sponsor of the Living By Faith page for nearly two years. That page prints often in their publication. I will put one of my articles in there with the rest of the article pointing to go to the article here on the blog to finish reading.

I have been blogging daily now for a couple of years (all of 2015 and 2016 and so far all of 2017). I make sure to have at least one blog post published each day. Even if it is republishing or resurfacing an older blog post.

2017, I even got to get memo pads and a calendar professional printed to hand out to people. I have plans to have more memos pads and a 2018 calendar out very soon that I can hand out to people.

Growing

I give God all the glory and the growth in this blog ministry. I couldn’t have done it without Him and through Him. He has seen me through all the way. God has even grown the social media presence too. I do share blog post on social media.

Many Thanks

I would like to thank each and everyone of you for visiting, sharing, liking and commenting on Courageous Christian Father. I hope and pray God will continue to use me for many more years.
