Fair Foods - State and county fair season has arrived, and that means there will be rides and games galore. While many people are drawn to fairs by the entertainment, just as many are willing to stand in line for the unique and tasty foods that seem to embody fair and carnival fun.

· Candy Apples: These are apples on a stick and coated with yumminess. There are red ones with a red glaze. Others are made with a caramel glaze. Sometimes nuts are added to those. Growing up, we had an neighbor, her church made the red candy apples for the fair and would bring my sister and I each one, each year.

· Popcorn: This yummy treat is made from a hard corn kernel and is heated and comes out to this airy fluff. This treat is very popular at movies and usually best with tons, I mean tons of butter.
