We pray for a lot! When we pray we need to remember it is God’s will not ours!
Prayer is a communication with God, this is why we have the personal relationship with Him. We can go to Him at anytime. We do not need permission or to go to a priest or that to to God for us. When Jesus died on the cross the veil in the temple was broken to give us immediate access to God.
I pray daily, even several times a day. With all things we need to go to prayer.
Some scriptures on prayer
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6)
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.(Mark 11:24)
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Matthew 21:22)
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:15-18)
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:14-16)Trending
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. (Mark 11:25)
for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. (Matthew 6:8b)
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18)
There is power in prayer. God hears us when we pray. Just God’s answer may be different from what we want. We need to learn to listen to God when we do pray. We are to pray constantly, without stopping. When we do pray ask forgiveness of your sins.
We shouldn’t be ashamed when we go to pray. God already know what we want before we ask! We still need to go to Him and tell Him. It helps with our personal relationship with Him.
I know for sure prayer works! God has answered so many of my prayers right now! Sometimes we may not hear from God right away, but God is still working. We don’t get what we want, we get what we need according to His will.
Thank you Lord for those praise reports. We must give Him thanks as well for those answered and unanswered prayers.
