End It Movement

Ever wondered what a red X meant on someone’s hand? Find out in this blog post about the End It Movement on Sex Trafficking. You may have seen people on social media a while back having these big red X’s on their hand. This was done on February 25, 2016, to help raise awareness that slavery still exists and that together we can END IT.  It is a way to help your voice be heard about freedom.

End It Movement

Being a Freedom Fighter! A good movie about being a freedom fighter is Last Ounce of Courage. I have said several times we need people to stand and speak up. That is part of being a freedom fighter.

The movement has several ways you can help.

You can write political leaders to take action to help end slavery, not just sex slavery, there is work slavery still going today too. What is Slavery? Slavery has many forms and names, but it’s still slavery. And it’s still wrong. Can you imagine being forced to work without pay, trapped, unable to walk away, subject to violence or the threat of violence, by another person as they control you? Own you? Isolated, yet hidden in plain sight. This is reality for those trapped in slavery today. Slavery is illegal in every single country in the world. Yet it still exists.

Even Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) has created a crucial piece of legislation aimed at seeing a measurable 50% reduction in slavery over the next 7 years.

Planning an event, running a race or want to plaster your campus (legally) with our RED X?  It all starts with YOU. The End It Movement website even gives you red X’s you can download and use. (Click to Download)

In Plain Sight a documentary used to help raise awareness of sex trafficking going on and how it is also done in plain sight.
