I challenge all churches who have a church bell to ring your church bell daily at 10 am if possible.

Ring your Church Bell daily at 10 am to bring encouragement for your community. #ChurchBell Click To Tweet

Usually, you hear the Church Bell ring before worship services to announce church was starting. But this ringing of the church bell is to bring encouragement to the community.

According to First Baptist of Middlesboro, their Governor Andy Beshear has requested that houses of worship ring their bells daily at 10 AM to encourage their communities. This request was made on March 23, 2020 admits the COVID-19 pandemic.

So let’s ring church bells loud and proud to encourage the community where your church is located.

I’d encourage you to take a photo and share who the church member that got to ring it. Similar to what FBC of Middlesboro is doing on Facebook.

I also heard many churches plan to ring their church bell at 7 am on Easter. This one on Easter Sunday is supposed to ring the Church Bell 33 times.

If you do not have a church bell or cannot get to your church, go outside on your porch and ring any kind of bell you may have at 10 am daily and then the 33 times on Easter at 7 am.

You could use a handbell, bells that are on decorations, craft bells, etc. We do not have to limit to ringing the bell at the Church Building. We still can do this since we make up the Church Body.

Is your church bell ringing?

Is your church doing something like this during the pandemic? If so, feel free to share about it. Include your church name and the time. If it was for special circumstances too.
