Christmas Traditions

I come from a smaller family. I don’t remember many of them from when I was a child. I only remember a few …

The first one was we always or most always put up the Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving. I believe we always played Christmas Music while putting up the Christmas Tree.

The other one was on Christmas Eve, we always got to open one small present under the tree. It had to be a small gift, not a big one.

We would always love to watch the Christmas Programs on TV like A Charlie Brown’s Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Coming to Down, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, Muppet’s Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street, It’s A Wonderful Life and the list can go on and on. Unless we had it on VHS, we had to wait for it to air on TV.

I am not sure why I don’t recall a lot from my childhood, but I don’t. For some reason, those are the only two I remember. However, if I remember more, I will come back and add it to this blog post.

What are some of yours?
