Chick-fil-A has a family challenge for you. Are you up to it? It could land you free dessert if you can do it! It will be hard for most families especially millennials! Maybe this might show if you have a cell phone dependency or addiction!
Chick-fil-A Family Challenge
Chick-fil-A is trying to get families to interact with each other while they are eating and not their phones, tablets or other mobile devices. They want you to put your cell phone in the Cell Phone Coop and do the Chick-fil-A Family Challenge.
This is how the challenge works according to the Cell Phone Coop box.
- Turn all family cell phones to silent and place in the cell phone coop.
- Enjoy your Chick-fil-A meal and each other distraction free!
- After the meal, let us know that you have successfully completed the challenge and each of you will receive a small Icedream cone.
It is that simple if you can do it!
Check this out, Brad Williams, a Chick-fil-A Operator in Suwanee, Ga., is taking this issue head-on and by Cooping up Cell Phones.
“We really want our restaurant to provide a sense of community for our customers, where family and friends can come together and share quality time with one another,” said Williams. “But as we all know, technology increasingly demands more of our time and can be a big distraction, even while we’re eating. This got me thinking about what we could do to reduce this distraction during meals.”
So Williams worked with his team to develop a solution he calls the “Cell Phone Coop.” Williams places a small, square box, a.k.a. the Coop, on each table at his restaurant with a simple challenge: enjoy a meal without the distraction of cellphones and receive a free Chick-fil-A Icedream. Guests complete the challenge successfully only if cellphones remain in the Coop untouched for their entire meal.
This currently is not available in all Chick-fil-A restaurants but many of them are requesting these cell phone coops for their stores. So you might see the cell phone coop come to a Chick-fil-A near you!
What is the icedream cone? It is nothing but Chick-fil-A’s ice cream cone.

My Pleasure a Chick-fil-A review
I personally believe this should be done at every restaurant and at the home. Start eating as a family and talk to each other and not talk to each other via text or cell, but live face to face chat. Old fashioned way of talking to each other.
