This takes one of my two favorite fruits and combine them. If I get a milkshake, I get a strawberry banana milkshake. So I decided to wing it on making these muffins. I knew the basics of what went in on this recipe, so I didn’t measure either, I just put in and mixed!

Ingredients

  • Strawberries cut up
  • Over-ripped bananas
  • Flour (usually about 2 cups or so)
  • Flaxseed
  • Chai Seed
  • Local Natural Honey
  • 2 Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • Strawberry Apple Sauce (Single Serve)
  • Cinnamon (Pinch)
  • Baking Soda (Pinch)
  • Red Colored Sugar Sprinkle

Directions

This is how I put all the stuff together for these Strawberry Banana Muffins. I preheated the over to 350°. Mixed all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and smashed the bananas. Then add the eggs (already mixed with vanilla), then add the honey and mixed well. If it looks too thin, add more flour.

Once the mixture is ready, I graced a muffin pan. I didn’t used the wrapper bottoms, like that you would use on cupcakes. Fill each circle half way in that slot. Top batter with the red sprinkle sugar. Bake for about 15-20 minutes. Ovens can vary, it may take longer and it may take less. Stick a tooth pick inside to see if it comes out clean or not. If it is still wet in the center, bake for a little bit more time. Do this until the toothpick comes out clean.

Now you can enjoy!
