March DADness

March DADness, usually in March you hear about the March Madness® that goes around basketball season wraps up, but how about a dadness movement that will get dads involved! That’s what March DADness is about.

March DADness

A movement to high light our fatherhood experiences. The good and the bad. We all make mistakes and as a father, we need to man up when we do make a mistake and ask forgiveness. We also need to discipline our children, like God told us to. God chastises those He loves and we should discipline our children because we love them. (See Proverbs 3:12; Proverbs 13:24, & Hebrews 12:6)

Disciplining your children, Training  your children and Bring your children up in the way of the Lord.. (Proverbs 22:6). We are even to help show Support for our children.

There are many aspects of fatherhood sometimes it seems it can be madness. So why not take the play on the words, I think someone else already done that, I am not taking credit for it. I know All Pro Dad does something with March DADness and even saw a cartoon that dealt with DADness. Click the graphic below to be taken to the All Pro Dad website about March DADness.

I also encourage all men to check out two movies Courageous and Fireproof. Also check out The Resolution for Men Book and The Love Dare Book.

I took the Resolution and I encourage other Christian men to stand up and do the same!

Dads now is the time to step up! Not when the chlid(ren) gets older. The present time! Even if you don’t have a child yet, now is the time to prepare and pray up for when you do.

Also we don’t need a month or a day set aside to remind us we as men need to step up to set the example to our children, we should be doing this on a daily bases.
