Most everyone knows who the Cookie Monster is from Sesame Street. He is that big blue cookie loving monster!

Cookie Monster proclaimed his own National Cookie Day in the 1980 book The Sesame Street Dictionary.

He was created by Jim Henson. Cookie Monster got his starting 1966 on a “Wheel-Stealer” unaired General Mills Commercial. Then in 1969, he came on Sesame Street.

Cookie Monster Day is held on November 2, which is Cookie Monster’s birthday. Happy Birthday Cookie Monster!

Cookie Monster is one of my daughters favorite characters.

It is said he proclaimed this Day in the Sesame Street Dictionary. But, no date is given. However, noticed in the page below, he proclaimed National Cookie Day. However, December 4, is when National Cookie Day is.
