Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que

Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que – If you like BBQ Food and you are in the Sevier County area, you might want to go to this restaurant to get some good bbq food such as hog legs, ribs, brisket and more.

Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que

I would have to say BBQ food is one of my favorite foods. Briskets and Ribs oh my! This weeks Travel Thursday takes us to Pigeon Forge to Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que. We even ate when the Rod Run was going on. We didn’t know about that until we got into Pigeon Forge. But we did manage to find a parking space and get right in.

Burnt Ends – Brisket

Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que opened in 1991 at the Pigeon Forge Location. They are owned by the Johnson Family. It is Locally owned and operated over 26 years. In addition to this Pigeon Forge location there is another Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que in Gatlinburg.

My wife got the Hog Legs. She loved them. She had already ate here before and wanted me to try it! I am glad she did. I got the Burnt Ends. Burnt Ends are the top of the brisket. They were very yummy and fatty too. I love the fat of beef! I really enjoyed them too. I did get Spicy Mac  and Cheese as one of my sides. I enjoyed them as well. They has a good kick to them. Not your normal mac and cheese!

We were sat in the covered outside area. So I didn’t get a good look on the inside inside part.

I enjoyed all the sauces they had, but I didn’t try the mustard based one (Mustard’s Last Stand). The house sauce was good. It is homemade and served warmed. Another sauce I liked was the Puckering Pig Sauce and Honey Q4U. I actually mixed those sauces I liked.

Oh yea! The Biscuits were very yummy! I had to ask for more! Just saying you cannot eat just one of those!

That day our serve was Mady, she was very friend and helpful. She helped explain things since it was my first visit.

They are a bit pricey, but well worth it.

I will say this is one of two favorite BBQ places. Here and Haymaker Farms Restaurant  in Harrogate, TN.
