Bring Your Bible to School Day

Bring It. Share It. Live It.

Bringing your Bible can help show your support for a freedom that is being taken away from as a Christian. Bring your Bible can help show that you are a Christian and you are proud of being a Christian.

Students have a right to bring their Bibles to school. Yet some report feeling pressured to hide their faith by school teachers and administrators due in part to the cultural censorship of faith that exists in public education from kindergarten to college. Check out know your rights!

Don’t be ashamed of the Gospel!

“We’re thrilled to be able to help spread the news about this event to students and their families. Students’ freedom to express their faith at school is an issue that’s really close to our hearts. Our newest song, ‘Guilty,’ deals directly with the topic. That’s also why we’re supporting the thousands of students participating in ‘Bring Your Bible to School Day.’”

Newsboys lead singer Michael Tait

Focus on the Family reported In 2017, the initiative saw its widest reach ever—with close to 500,000 students participating in schools nationwide.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Hebrews 4:12

Hebrews 4:12 (above) shows us that the Word of God is powerful, why else would places want it removed. Bring Your Bible To School Day is a way to take a stand and shed light in a dark world.

Bring your Bible may be a good way to share the hope that is in you. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” 1 Peter 3:15

Don’t be Ashamed and take a stand. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” Romans 1:16

This may be a great day for your youth or children to hand out Life Book’s (Gospel of John and some Gospel of Mark).

This is a day when thousands of students will share God’s hope and celebrate religious freedom — #BringYourBible to School Day!

  1. Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah! Bind up this testimony of warning and seal up God’s instruction among my disciples. Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness. This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Therefore night will come over you, without visions, and darkness, without divination. The sun will set for the prophets, and the day will go dark for them.

  2. Amen I agree Steve!! As children of God we need to stand up for all that Christ has done for us and how amazing He truly is. God is Love and I love that! 🙂 <3

  3. Amen and Amen to that Steve! I’m proud of Our Lord and will not be silent for all He’s done for me, for us all! 🙂

  4. Yes, the negativity is making me see people in a whole different sad way. Prayers for them not to fall away from Our Lord in these times.

  5. I am so encouraged to see that there is a movement that brings the Creator back into the schools. It wasn’t enough for me. I felt a tug to show even more support to my grandchildren to bring their Bible’s to school. So, I went even farther and asked my children, wife and other members of our family to show the support by bringing my Bible and they bring theirs to work with them today. I feel so encouraged that God is returning to the front and center of our lives through this movement. Please keep the encouragement up.

    1. I think that is a great idea too. I have one at my desk. We work with clients they have their Bibles open and on the counter in the main area. Maybe we can do a Bring Your Bible to Work Day, as well as, Bring Your Bible to School Day.
