Books for Treats – an idea to give books to children on Halloween instead of candy. They even made a day out of giving books. #BooksforTreats

This idea is a good idea, as i can run along with the Teal Pumpkin Project. Maybe you can give some Children Christian Books or a Children’s Bible, etc. Or you can give a reading book geared for children.

Books for Treats Day is held annually on Halloween, October 31.

This day got started in 2009, from a comic strip, “Luann”. The author Greg Evans had a series of special comic strips about Books For Treats which ran Halloween week 2009.
