DC Talk couldn’t have said it any better in their song “Jesus Freak”. This blog post talks about Biblical name calling.

Hey that’s a compliment when you call me those names … It means the World can see Jesus in me and even in you. After all we are not to be of this World as Christians and we are called to make disciples. That means proclaiming the Gospel.
You can persecute me all you want but I am not ashamed of the Gospel. Jesus was persecuted and we will be persecuted as well for following Him. But it’s all worth it cause Jesus is interceding on my behalf.
Just think of what Jesus went through, compared to what we are going through. Jesus paid the ultimate price for us all!
Stand up and be firm! Don’t be ashamed!
