The Bible is the Map (Church Sign)

I saw this church sign on my way home from our Men’s Breakfast on August 8, 2015. We meet at Cracker Barrel in Kodak, TN. I went the back roads home and passed this church sign from Dumplin Baptist in Dandridge, TN. Side note: Dumplin is the church that planted the church I attend, Piedmont Baptist.

This church sign from Dumplin Baptist reads …

“The Bible is the map that keeps us on path”

Since this talked about a map and path, I figured I would add this to the Road Signs of the Bible. We all know that a map tells us where we need to go and often where we been. The Bible is similar to a map. The Bible tells us how we should live, a guideline, for what God expects us to do. So you can say this is how God wants us to Go!

The Bible tells us in Matthew 7:13 that we must enter through the narrow path, not the wide path. So the Bible will keep up on that narrow path.

He has given us commands, commands are action words, meaning to go! We must follow God and His path. His path to His Son Jesus Christ to get to Heaven.
